Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 2026

Commitment

I am committed to ensuring that guiathia.com is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and applicable national legislation.

Current Status

This website is regularly reviewed for accessibility. The following measures have been taken to support accessibility:

  • Text alternatives are provided for non-text content

  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background

  • Content is navigable using a keyboard

  • Pages are structured with clear headings and logical reading order

  • Links are descriptive and distinguishable

  • Forms include visible labels and clear instructions

  • The site is designed to be usable across screen sizes and devices

Known Limitations

While I strive to make all content accessible, some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Known limitations include:

  • Some third-party content (embedded podcast players, video players, or booking widgets) may not be fully accessible, as they are controlled by external providers

  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully screen reader compatible

  • Auto-scrolling text banners on certain sections may not be pausable on all devices

I am actively working to address these issues and improve accessibility across the site.
